Frequently asked questions:

Can I bring alcohol or food to your studio anytime or is it only on certain days?  UNFORTUNATELY, DURING COVID-19, WE ARE NOT ALLOWING FOOD TO BE CONSUMED IN THE STUDIO AT THIS TIME.
I thought I could finish my project but it looks like I ran out of time... Don't worry!  We will wrap it up and send it home with you for safe keeping. Come back tomorrow and your studio fee is on us.  Come back in a couple of weeks and there is a new studio fee. "Why?" You ask...Well, we have to pay rent here at the studio and electricity and payroll and water and so on and so on. It gets crazy like that.  But we love having you back with us!  Did you bring some dinner?

I am so untalented and this really needs to impress my (fill in the blank)!  Can you do custom work?  Yes, we can do custom painting here in the studio for an extra fee.  We are happy to help with whatever we can.  Wedding platters?  Yep!  Engagement plates? Yep! Retirement plates? Yep! The list goes on and on. 

Can we rent out your entire studio for our group meeting?  We are happy to discuss rental of the studio for your group for painting or glass fusing.  This would usually occur during non-business hours.

I prefer to paint at home and not in your studio.  Why can't I do that? Our studio is a contemporary pottery studio set up for the "in house" studio experience.  You may be looking for the more traditional pottery experience if you prefer to paint in your home. Some people like the movies and some people like Broadway.  We like the way our studio works for us.

I would like to bring a glittery costumed pinata carrying gorilla to my next party!  Hold on my friend!  Sadly, we do not allow pinatas (seriously? around pottery?), glitter, confetti, costumed characters, strippers or strippers named Glitter at parties.  It just does not work for us.  Trust us.  We know from past experience.  Don't ask or we will go into FULL detail.

I found this super duper antique thinga-ma-jig in my Grand mama's attic! Can you fix it for me?  Please don't trust us with anything thing your Grand mama owned!  I wouldn't trust myself with anything my Grandmother owned.  If it is truly a gift from above, try Precious Restorations in Charlotte NC 704-965-0074.  They are pricey as all get out, but they perform miracles for your most precious pieces.  If you need glue, try E6000 which can be found at Michaels in the glue section.

What platters can I find on your menu? Is the shrimp good?  Oh, Liz!  I think you're talking about the good people of the Mad Platter in Nashville.  I get their emails all the time, especially from a certain someone's campaign when he was running for president...
