At The Mad Platter, creativity is always in the air! Walk in anytime and dive into creating your own ceramic masterpiece — no appointment needed.  We do not have reservations, as we do not know how long each artist will take to create. Some may take longer than others, and it is hard for us to predict when the next table is available for creating.
Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis, but if you’re bringing a group of 10 or more, please call ahead to reserve our ONE extra-large table.

How It Works: 

Step 1 – Choose Your Piece  Browse our shelves filled with over 500 pottery pieces — from mugs and plates to planters, figurines, and seasonal favorites. Prices range from $20–$150. Our inventory is constantly changing with the seasons, so every visit offers something new to inspire you!

Step 2 – Design Your Masterpiece Let your imagination lead the way! Use stamps, stencils, sponges, brushes, silk screens, and more to bring your vision to life. Not sure where to start? Our friendly studio staff is always happy to help with ideas, techniques, and design tips.

Step 3 – Create!  Get painting! With over 80 vibrant colors, bursting glazes, writer bottles, and specialty finishes, the possibilities are endless. Experiment, layer, and play — your only limit is your imagination.

Step 4 – We Fire It for You  Once your piece is complete, leave it with us for glazing and kiln firing. We’ll send you a text as soon as it’s ready — usually within 6–7 days (timing may vary based on kiln load).
