We added glass fusing to the studio two years ago. We started with necklaces, bracelets and earrings. We have slowly added other small projects, but we are excited to announce that we will offer a complete line of glass fusing to the studio in mid February. Keep an eye out for our newsletter or necome a friend of the studio on Facebook or twitter. We added silver clay designs to our studio almost two years ago and we have to admit - it's addicting! One small piece of clay - the size of a piece of gum! - is all you need to create a necklace, earrings or a ring. We created earrings and necklaces with our junior campers this last year and the projects were amazing. Starting with a pre-made mold and then choosing the top design (fingerprints are great) you can create and have your piece ready in 24 hours. Great for those last minute gifts. Silver clay is just one more way that you can express your inner artist. Photo mosaics are unique and one of a kind works of art. The first question people ususally ask about our photo mosaic projects is "How did you cut up the photo in to all those tiny blocks?" A great question to start with, because we actually apply the photo right to the base and mosaic with clear glass tiles. Using a photo that is printed professionally (please, no photos from a home printer) you can create a truly unique piece of art. Photos can be color or black and wite - it's up to you. This project is simple and easy on your wallet!
