Be Smart - DO ART! Happy customer and budding artist! The Mad Platter is a paint your own pottery studio with over two hundred styles of pottery to choose from. In four easy steps you are on your way to creating a one of a kind piece of art. First - choose your piece (this may take a while - we have over 200 styles) Second - choose your design. We have over 60 colors, stamps, stencils and a design area to help you get started. Third - time to create! The staff of The Mad Platter will be there to help you in anyway possible. Fourth step - leave your masterpiece with us and we will glaze and fire the piece for you. Your masterpiece will be ready for pickup in four days! During the holidays we may take a bit longer - but not too long! Fees are $6 studio fee for adults and $4 for children 17 and under plus the price of your pieces. Look for discount nights on our specials page. The Mad Platter is locally owned and operated by Margaret Nevill. Margaret opened the studio in October of 1997 and the fun has never ended. The staff varies in their artistic styles and each member has something to offer our customers. Customers range in age from one day to their nineties! From the novice to the professional artist, there is a little bit of something for everyone. The loves of Margaret's life!
